For those looking to stop overnight the Riverside Lodge Hotel has a Black Friday offer. Any monetary vouchers bought on 29th November (and only that day) can be purchased with a discount of 30%, ie £100 voucher will cost £70.

These vouchers can be used to pay for rooms (probably if booked directly through hotel website). These vouchers are normally valid for 12mths and I expect the Black Friday ones to be the same, but I recommend you confirm the small print yourselves.

Apart from trophies for top three places there will also be the following awards
• Wooden spoon (last place)
• Top Scottish based player outside top three
• Leadership award

Leadership points will be gained for each round of combat (across all five games) that a general is included in combat. The points awarded are
• Ordinary general scores 1pt
• Competent general scores 2pts
• Brilliant general scores 3pts
• Strategist scores 5pts

However if the general dies he scores 0pts for that game.

The number of Leadership points gained in each game will be submitted with the results of that game.

I will be bringing along much of the remaining stuff from the estate of Colin Sharpe. Most of you will already have seen much of it, as his death was 5 years ago now. This is the tail end of the collection, and if you see anything of interest feel free to make an offer, as I would like to finalise things in the not too distant future.

His original 1980s early imperial Roman army (lorica segmentata, lamming figures) around 400 pieces, which I am really struggling to price. There is loads of it, but figures and painting has moved on. This could be split by unit or base
