Had a situation the other night where 4 units of Heavy Cavalry were engaged with each other as follows
K
XXX
YY
Y
Where K was a unit of knights, X was the opponents Heavy Cavalry and Y was my Heavy Cavalry
As you can see my opponent had support on one flank but none on the other, he wanted to move his knights to give support to that flank, but this meant moving into difficult terrain at a -3 factor. My questions are
1. Is this legal
2. What would be the effect of the -3, if legal it seems the terrain has no effect, is this true |

I don't believe terrain has any effect on support. |
