Just wondering if anyone has any pre-built scenarios for ADLG?
We've been playing a lot recently but I'm getting a bit fed up of the 300v300 pitched battle.
I'm thinking just a few basic scenario types to mix things up a bit.
It's interesting that many game systems have a variety of scenarios but ancients rulesets always seem to stick to the same 'pitched battle' approach.. |

You can find lot of informations with Internet or books to build your own scenarii.
Some are presents in the section of forum. _________________ Hasta la victoria Siempre!

Switch to 200 points!
Seriously this is something I have been working on. One problem is many scenarios don't fit ancient armies. The running battle is a bit tough for example. The other is balancing victory conditions.
But I have been working on a few modifications from Charles Grant's Scenarios for gamers. There are about 5-7 that could work.
Here's a scenario that you can do and let me know how it works.
Army A: 250 points deploys as normal.
Army B: 300 points BUT at least 100 points must on a "flank march" the player's own base edge can be chosen as well (including sector). You can send more than one Corps on a FM if needed. There is no roll for the flank march for the first two turns. On turn 3 it begins rolling.
Can Army A do enough damage before Army B is reinforced?
Then play again reverse the positions.
Let me know how it goes. |
