You're all invited to our annual event in Avellino, nestled in the Irpinia mountains, which since last year has been named in memory of our friend, player, and hobbyist Ciskie. The tournament will take place on June 13-14, 2026, at the Fireforge Games headquarters at Via Alvanella 199, 83024, Monteforte Irpino (Avellino).
Tournament theme:
FEUDAL OPEN = all lists, provided they fall within the period from 1050 to 1330 AD.
Lists: 200 points
Dice: Play will only be played with dice provided by the organizers.
List submission:
No later than Sunday, June 7th to "mikimoto88@yahoo.it".
Michele D'Agostino will be both the referee and the odd-numbered player to ensure no one misses the game.
Number of games:
5 games = 3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday.
Pairing Rules:
Pairings between Italian players from the same club, or between foreign players from the same country, will ALWAYS* be avoided.
*Except in unforeseen circumstances, to prevent two players who have already played from playing again, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Times
Saturday:
First match 10:30 - 1:00 PM
Second match 2:00 - 4:30 PM
Third match 5:00 - 7:30 PM
Sunday:
First match 8:30 - 11:00 AM
Second match 11:30 - 2:00 PM
Tournament fee: €40, including Saturday lunch, Sunday snack, and water/soft drinks/coffee/tea
Prizes: First, second, and third place will certainly be awarded plaques, as well as other secondary prizes.
Travel tips:
For train travelers, the most convenient arrival station to Avellino, thanks to a ride with our friends, is the Afragola high-speed train station.
For air travelers, Naples airport offers low-cost direct connections to Alicante, Barcelona, Marseille, Athens, London, Manchester, Berlin, and all other Italian destinations on these dates (sometimes Monday is better for the return flight).
