1. Given that the Francs archers are only allowed prior to 1466, should one read these lines as simply optional troop types that may (or must from 1511) be taken but pay no attention to them replacing Francs archers who aren’t allowed from 1466?

2. Given that these always “Replace all Francs archers”, should one read this as saying the 0-4 HI Polearms mediocre /LMI XB mediocre are only allowed from 1466-1479, the 0-2 Pikemen mediocre only allowed from 1480-1510 and then of course the Pikemen Ordinary only allowed and compulsory from 1511-1515?
