Unit A is LC
Unit B is HC impetuous
The target is more than 1 UD to the side.
It is not possible to shift an attack the target.
B has to wheel
..........T
A
B
Is this a burst through because B has to wheel while beeing inside A?
...or an interpretation.. as A and B are oriented in the same direction?
If this would be a normal movemenr
At what point of the interpretation is B allowed to wheel?
Does B has to have fully crossed A or may it Start a wheel once the frontline of B has passed through A? |

You may not wheel at all while moving through a LH at anytime with mounted. |

Dan,
When can you start the wheel (in a non-charge move)?
After the front edge of the interpenetrating unit clears the front edge of the interpenetrated unit? Or only after the rear edge of the interpenetrating unit clears the front edge of the interpenetrated unit? |

I know of no rule that allows you to wheel while within another unit when the rule requires said unit to be orientated in the same or opposite direction.
The rule on the rear corner overlapping specifically refers to adjacent unit and not an interpenetration.

Agreed Dan.Â
In order to charge an enemy, the unit must slide OR wheel. Under normal interpenetration rules B could not interpenetrate and then wheel to charge.Â
But if the player has used up all his CP and unit B was in charge range, as it is Impetuous it would be forced to make an uncontrolled charge, wheeling immediately and bursting through A (p40, p45 and example on p46)
However, to move into support, a unit may both slide and wheel (which in this case would allow B to support some other unit that charges T) |

The impetuous unit must take the shortest route, which is a wheel and advance. You cannot interpenetrate with a wheel. thus it is a burst through. The example on page 46 is instructive as unit C moves through L1 with an unallowed slide. |
