HAVOC Game Convention, April 9th 2022
Sutton, Massachusetts
https://havoc.battlegroupboston.org/index.php
This will be a 3-round open tournament. 200-point armies, 15mm scale, single army list. Sign-in at 9 AM, rounds begin at 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM. All armies allowed, though we will try to match armies against their historical opponents. Players should provide their own terrain and play mats. New players are welcome: loaner armies will be available.
Details are subject to change, but I am hoping for space for 16 players. |

The event is happening this weekend! There is still space for more players, even if you didn't manage to register online. |

HAVOC 2022: Open period tournament results
Derek Hannan (Kingdom of Sicily) 3-0-0 277
Chris Burr (Macedonian) 2-0-1 213
Steven Maire (Mongol Conquest) 1-1-1 153
Alan Zanich (Norman) 1-0-2 137
Paul Georgian (Komenan Byzantine) 0-2-1 128
Tom McMillan (Patrician Roman) 1-0-2 111
Mike Carlin (Medieval Hungarian) DNF 1-1-0 124
Tucker Saglio (Republican Roman) Ringer/Organizer
Even with a couple of last-minute cancellations we had a proper turnout of 8 players (well, 7 plus yours' truly as a punching bag). All medieval and classical armies, with no duplicates. Despite being placed in the dark corner of the American Legion hall, we managed to illuminate the available space with our sparkling personalities.
Derek Hannan emerged triumphant with his Kingdom of Sicily, with the almogovars proving the MVPs (ah, to be an almogovar, truly the troop type most blessed by rules writers throughout time and edition changes). |
