There is a question and answer on the French rules folder that I think is worth transcribing because I was under the same misimpression.
Q. Can a group rearrange itself during a move as long as it forms a group at the beginning and end of its move?
A. No. The language is intended to indicate that the group can be redefined for each of the up to 3 moves made during the move phase. During a move the group must maintain its form, except as noted (charges, interpenetration). |
