|
Greetings to everyone!
I have a kind of question here.
The 3 mounted units are in the same army, the Cataphracts charge the front of the Bowmen, they need to conform to the left after the charge.
The question is, do a unit in a charging group that will end in simple support position force shift of a frienly unit or only units that charge to combat can force this kind of shifting?
Thanks in advance for your responses. |

| Good question. I don’t think they do, the just conform as far as they can and then fight. The bowmen will then conform on their turn. |

The section in the rulebook on p52, titled "Conforming and Shifting Units" fully covers the situations where conforming a unit in combat can/will result in a friendly unit being shifted to accommodate the conformation.
The section in the rulebook on p50, titled "Definition" lists who conforms, with the 4th and 5th bullets spelling out that achieving a position of simple support may require conformation. _________________ www.madaxeman.com |
