Dates: Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 April 2026 (Easter).
Venue: Hataitai Centre (ex Bowling Club)
157 Hataitai Road, Hataitai, Wellington 6021
https://hataitai.org.nz/hataitai-centre
Organiser: Stephen Ladányi, 021650157, iszladanyi@gmail.com
Rules: ADLG version 4 plus errata and any officially published FAQs.
Scale: 15mm.
Army size: 200 points.
Army choice: Open (any list from the rule book).
Runners & Riders: Please email/text me your army list number, name and unit count by Friday 27 March.
List checking: Do NOT send me your army lists to check; the onus is on players to come with correct lists.
If in doubt, get a friend to check your lists. Feel free to email me with any list-related questions/clarifications you need.
Figures: Reasonable figure morphing is permitted but units must be correct troop types.
Terrain: Please bring your own terrain and table mats.
Rounds: 3 rounds each day (total 6); each round will be a maximum of 2.5 hours.
Timetable:
Saturday: 9am start (which may be adjusted to allow for people flying in that morning). Please arrive at 8.45am to help me set up the tables and chairs.
Sunday: 9am start; expect to be finished by 5pm.
Trime management:
Time will be managed to ensure we keep to schedule; Blitz rules may be used. If it becomes apparent during the game that one army has been routed, per rules p.69 play to
the end of the current player’s sequence (i.e. all phases) and tally full results for both sides. If it’s obvious that a Win/Loss result is unlikely in a round’s remaining time, players will be asked to complete the current player’s sequence (if Defender), or play to the end of the Defender’s next sequence, and tally results.
Pairings:
Saturday: managed draw to maximise people playing “irregular†opponents.
Sunday: per accumulating points ladder.
Fee: $40 per player (to cover venue rental); pay by cash at the start (please bring exact money).
Numbers: Minimum of 10 players; maximum of 20 players.
Byes: If there are odd numbers Stephen Ladányi will play to avoid anyone having a bye.
Food & Drink: The venue is 50 metres walk from Hataitai village centre which has many specialist food &
drink shops (coffee, pizza, bakery, pies, burgers, fish & chips, Thai, Indian, Lebanese, Chinese).
Bring & Buy: Feel free to bring any surplus wargames items you may have for sale. |
