I assume this is an obvious oversight but consider the second bullet page 17 under Two-handed weapon.
If 2HW is attacked by spearmen on the flank/rear and ties the first round combat, then it qualifies for the +1 win instead.

I don’t think this is correct. P 63 specifically lists 2HW as an ability lost when attacked in the flank (even if not fully conformed or by lights).

BTW, I think 2HW and perhaps Polearms special abilities should not be lost when flanked (even though the base is reduced to a 0 and taking a cohesion hit) as this is a weapon that can do relatively better than spears, pikes and even sword impact or sword impetuous in a more individualized fighting style.
