On page 43, under the title 'Charge procedure', we read ''The phasing player conducts his/her charges in any order they wish''. Does that rule also applies for the charges of different sub-groups of units that consist one charging group? For example lets say we have a group of six units. Three of them are M.Knights Impact and consist the first row of a group and the other three are L.Cavalry and consist the second row of a group. The front of the group are the 3 Knights. The whole group declares a charge against an evader. The evader evades and the phasing player dices two different dice, one for each sub-group of the charging group. We assume that after dicing both the Knights and the L.Cv sub-group are able to contact the evaders. Can the phasing player decide to make the L.Cvs charge first interpenetrating the Knights (in which case the L.Cv will contact the evaders) and the Knights after (on which case they will stop behind L.Cv), or he has to play the first row charge first (the Knights), and then the second? |

P63 Charge procedure, #6, 2nd bullet covers your question :-
A group comprising units with different speeds dice separately. I suggest it is the player’s choice which sub-group dices first |
