I will try to match up armies by historical period. Will also be welcoming to new and novice players. A limited number of loaner armies will be available.

We had a good gathering in Cleveland yesterday. 10 players from the Great Lakes region of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. Five were either new players to the game of had only a few games experience. It was a good time for all and provided some good experience for new players and a competitive run for the veteran players.
Here is how it ended up:
1. Steve Roper - 76 Scythian - 280 points
2. George Deutsch - 41 Early Successors - 231 points
3. Dave Ulatowski - 65 Lydian - 224 points
4. Jeff Herzog - 162 Beja - 198 points
5. Richard Woolford - 115 African Vandal - 170 points
6. Mike Balough - 53 Republican Roman - 126 points
7. Joe Alberti - 53 Republican Roman - 124 points
8. Wayne Carter - 86 Gallic - 121 points
9. Spike Monahan - 86 Late Imperial Roman - 103 points
10. Chuck Hines - 172 Normans and Franks - 60 points
Congratulations to Steve Roper with his first place win!
Thank you to all participants! We are building up a gaming community for ADLG in the Great Lakes region of the United States.
