|
Apologies in advance for a question which must have been resolved long ago. I cannot find it based on just the subject line of posts and do not see it addressed in the rules or the FAQ.
We had two HI units fighting each other. I then hit one of them in the flank with another HI unit, but it survived.
In my opponent's turn he wished to contact my flanking HI unit frontally by hitting the 10mm of frontage which was not engaged in the flank attack. He believed the result would be a fight in his turn with just a portion of the front edges in contact followed by me conforming in my subsequent turn.
Y
XXY
ZZ
XX is facing down, ZZ facing up. YY moved into legal flank contact with XX facing left and my opponent wished to charge the unengaged portion of YY's front edge and was in position to do so. |
