I have some of the excellent new Museum Miniature range of Sumerians. They deserve lots of effort to paint well.
Who has suggestions for skin tones paint colours to use? |

The only thing we know for sure about their appearance is that they were said to have black hair. (black heads?)
It's likely they were related to the Marsh Arabs (Ma'dan) of southern Iraq. Skin tones similar to Yemenis and other southern Arabian groups. Well tanned maybe as depictions of their armies show a fair amount of bare skin.
There, only two months to get a reply. I suppose you've painted them all by now
