So we are now at 10 teams. If we don't reach 12 teams I propose that we play a 7 round competition with games at the following times

9 to 11:15
11:30 to 1:45
2:15 to 4:30
4:45 to 7:00

then on the Sunday

9 to 11:15
11:30 to 1:45
2:15 to 4:30

If people feel this is too many games I'm happy to reduce to either 5 or 6 rounds. I'll go with the majority on this so let me know what you want.

I do not want to be a bother, but I have already booked a flight at 19:55 from London Gatwick, I would gladly play 7 games, but I do not see how I can get to London in time if we finish at 16:30; would it be possible that another player from the place or nearby could play the seventh game in my place?

In terms of a 10-team events, playing 6 of the other 9 is pretty much the same as playing 7 of them.

i agree with Tim, 6 games ( 4 + 2 ) are better than 7 due to transport ( flights, train, sunday afternoon motorway to london... ) considerations

I would prefer six games as well.

I'd prefer a bit more time on the Sunday to shop and then get home earlier.

Happy to go hard on the Saturday though with four games.

I,ll go with anything it is decided, my friends of Central London have found an affordable cab to Gatwick that will get me in time for the flight even if we finish at 16:30, please do not worry about me, I would only suggest that if we finally play 6 games, 4 on saturday would be fine

It's pretty clear that the 6 game option is the popular choice so it will be 4 games on the Saturday and 2 on the Sunday.

By the way, I have tested today my draft list for the tournament, with a disastrous result ….; really looking forward to playing again in Milton Keynes, specially in a Central London team.
