1. Looking at the latest FAQ, page 17, 'Conformation after contact with units that are at right angles'
When, in any of the examples, the charging unit conforms it ends up with an enemy unit in contact with it's flank
I appreciate that, as stated on page 59 under 'Specific cases', the charging unit does not lose a cohesion point because of the flank contact, but does it still suffer the same penalties as if the enemy unit had moved into contact with it's flank (base factor 0 [except v lights], no impetus etc)?
2. Heavy cavalry A in melee against HC B to it's front, LC C in front edge contact with A's flank. A destroys B in A's melee phase, and then presumably conforms to C
Can C evade, or is it classed as being in melee on it's front edge and therefore unable to evade? _________________ Korik |

1.Yes.See same page 17 of FAQ under the title ATTACKED ON FLANK OR REAR FOLLOWED BY A CONFORMATION 2.The L.H cannot evade. See page 55 of the rulebook, CONFORMING:EXAMPLE 2 |
