A column of legionaries are 8 UD from the nearest enemy and have two command points allocated to them.
They spend one command point to expand. Can they use the second to advance 2 UD?
The potential objection to this is the second bullet point on the left hand column of p 31, that stops them combining an advance with an extension. Does that just stop them from moving and expanding for the same command point or does it apply for their whole bound?
As with the earlier extension question I think that I know the answer to this, but others as confidently reach a different conclusion, so I want to check.

Hello.
You can extend in one move, then advance in a second move, and vice-versa.
Extend AND move in one movement with the same command point is not allowed. |

Thank you. That is what I thought too. But friends from my club thought differently, so I wanted to check.
