Official Birthday Bash + Bourbon notice:
2/16 - 2/18 near Knoxville, Tennessee. 15mm 200 points modified Open. 2.5 hour rounds + 3d6 random time. 7-turn minimum. Stop after full defenders turn.

Schedule - 1 game Friday night, 3 Saturday with a final on Sunday. This will be a modified open if attendance allows: 12 spots Pre 1000AD 12 spots post 1000AD. Games 1 - 4 will be within Period. Final on Sunday will be based on win loss, regardless of the initial period. One list only for games 1 - 4. Final will allow a second list of the same army, same year.

Game play - 2.5 hour turns PLUS 3d6 of random time. Deliberate slow play will NOT be tolerated. 5 turns MINIMUM should be completed by the 2 hour mark. Chess clocks or blitz will be used if below turn 5 at that time. 7-turn minimum played

Hotel Hampton Inn, $129+tx with group rate "Birthday Bash". Breakfast and Internet included in the above. Link will be active within the next few days. 8 double Queen and 2 King rooms available at that rate. Must be booked by 12/1. Those that book before 11/24 will receive ONE reroll token that can be used for any die roll in games 1 - 4.
If you fly in to Knoxville, locals can arrange transportation.
Basic Entry:
$45 Entry fee payable via Venmo to @sgjeske. This will include a swag bag and BBQ Lunch on Saturday 2/17. It also includes soft drinks, bottled water, and a stocked bar of well liquors (bourbon, Gin, Vodka, Rum)
Bonus Entry:
$65 Entry fee(payable as above) in addition to the above, earns you a Friday night Bourbon sampling of the following premium bourbons: Blantons, Weller 107, Stagg Jr., Elijah Craig Barrel Proof 2020, McHenna 10 yr, New Riff Barrel Proof Rye, Sazarac Rye.

This looks like a good event. Especially 1) the fact that there will be five rounds, and 2) the fact that there will be a bourbon tasting. Blantons!

I will not know whether I can attend until much closer to the date of the event, but I am going to do my best.
