The Worlds 2027 is now open for entry and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Rules: ADLG v4 with all published amendments, FAQ’s, errata
Games will be 2hrs 30min
Blitz will be played unless both players agree otherwise
Games will finish on the dice down method

Timetable:
1 game Thursday evening starting 18:00
3 on Friday starting 9:30 or 10:00 (tbd)
2 on Saturday starting 9:30

Entry fee: £40 which includes soft drinks, tea, coffee and light lunch Friday and Saturday .

Accommodation:
There are numerous hotels in the area. However we can also offer a small number of rooms at the venue for the nights of 27th and 28th May. These come with TV's and wifi, set up as twin rooms. Room rate is £80 per night. Rooms can be booked for single or twin occupancy. If you require these rooms for further nights contact us and we will see what we can do. In summary

Elgin club will be holding their one day event on 22/05/2027. This will be at their usual venue of Bishopmill Hall, Elgin IV30 4DH consisting of 3 games each 2hrs 30 min. The theme will mirror that of the Worlds (held just a few days later), so will be open, ie any legal list.

If posible the first two rounds will be visitors vs Elgin players, but this depends upon numbers at the event.

For those unfamiliar with the area Elgin is a good starting point for visiting Inverness and the Highlands, including Loch Ness. For the historians its very close to the battlefield of Culloden and to Fort George.
