Makes things easier I guess! |
Link please and will this end up in the Errata? |
It's in the post from Herve in this thread that you replied to on Oct 06, 2025 at 11:26 am....
I have no idea about the Errata - that is a matter for Herve and the DT to decide on when or if to release an update, and what to include. _________________ www.madaxeman.com |

Oops! So it is. Your rephrasing of his comment threw me. _________________ Martin Stephenson

Not sure how Herve's answer helps.
You still don't know where the c-in-c is so don't know if everything is in command range. You could ensure all the ambush markers are close enough together that the furthest a unit could be deployed from any other furthest point in another ambush marker is within command range.Of course you could do that with units that are deployed at the beginning of the game.
It seems to me that the simplest answer is to assume the c-in-c is free to sneak about within the ambush(which he is because you can place him anywere as part of the ambushing group when you deploy them on table) and therefore measure the range from the ambush marker.

Herve's answer was that if some of a general's units are not in ambush then the general must also not be in ambush.
Units in ambush are considered to be in command during deployment. |
